Best Dooars Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: NJP (New Jalpaiguri)/Bagdogra to Lataguri / Murti – Pick up. You travel through Baikunthpur Forest and cross River Teesta to halt at Gajoldoba.  Reach Lataguri / Murti Hotel by lunch time. (You can take Gorumara Forest jeep safari in the evening). Overnight at Lataguri / Murti.

DAY 2: Lataguri / Murti sightseeing – (You can take Gorumara Forest jeep safari this morning, if you have not taken jeep safari the previous day). After breakfast at resort, leave for Samsing. On the way sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Rocky Island. Overnight at Lataguri / Murti.

DAY 3: Transfer to Jaldapara – Leave hotel after and reach Jaldapara National Park. Sightseeing at Totopara Tribal Village, South Khayerbari Animal Rehabilitation Center (You can take Jaldapara Forest jeep safari in the evening or the next day morning). Overnight at Madarihat.

DAY 4: Jaldapara to Hasimara / Falakata Railway station – You can go for Elephant Safari on availability. Also included is sightseeing at Chilapata Forest. Drop to New Alipurduar Railway station.

On the way sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Rocky Island, Suntaleykhola. Overnight at Lataguri / Murti. Evening you can enjoy a program of tribal dance.

• DAY 3: Lataguri / Murti to Jaldapara – Take a walk on the banks of river Murti in the morning. After breakfast start and reach Jaldapara National Park via Nagrakata. Sightseeing at Totopara Tribal Village, South Khayerbari Animal Rehabilitation Center (You can take Jaldapara Forest jeep safari in the evening). Overnight at Madarihat.

• DAY 4: Jaldapara Sightseeing – (You can take Jaldapara Forest jeep safari this morning, if not taken the previous day). Or you can also opt for Elephant Safari on availability. Sightseeing at Chilapata Forest, Buxa Tiger Reserve, Buxa Fort, Jayanti Riverside. Your can take jungle safari at Chilapata  Forest and return to your hotel at Madarihat. Overnight at Madarihat.

• DAY 5: Madarihat to New Alipurduar Railway Junction: Take a tour to Phutsholling, the gateway to Bhutan, do sightseeing at Phuntsholling  after that  drop to New Alipurduar Railway Junction. With that ends Dooars Tour Packages.

Covering Gorumara Chapramari Jhallong Bindu Suntaleykhola Jaldapara Khayerbari Buxa Sikiajhora Jayanti Rajabhatkhawa Phuntsholing

Day 1: Arrive at Njp Railway station or Bagdogra then start for Murti/Lataguri via Gajoldoba. After lunch you can take a safari at Garumara National Park.  After back from safari enjoy your tea with snacks at hotel. Over night at Garumara.

Day 2: Jhalong / Bindu/Samsing/Suntalekhola

After having your breakfast proceed to Jhalang / Bindu / Dalgaon view point via Chapramari Forest(at 10 am). It takes 4 to 5 hours , Samsing / Suntalekhola / Rocky Island/Laligurs View Point. These is local villages with mesmerizing view of valleys and green tea garden. Over night at Gorumara.

Day 3: Transfer To Jaldapara

After breakfast drive to Jaldapara. Check in to hotel. Evening free for collection for Elephant Safari tickets. On the way visit Khayerbari Leopard Rescue center and Totopara. Over night stay at Jaldapara.

Day 4: Phuentsholing & Chilapata Excursion

Early morning enjoy Elephant Safari at the core area of Jaldapara National Park (as per availability & on direct payment basis). After safari back to hotel. After having your breakfast proceed to Phuntsoling, Bhutan. Here you may visit 2 points. There is a crocodile park and the  Kharbandi Gompa. This is the place where you may get a view of entire eastern Dooars from here. On the way back take a drive through the dense forest of Chilapata, where you may fill the thrill the jungle. You may also try for the Jungle Safari in Chilapata forest to Nal Rajar Gagh ruins of a fortress in the forest. Over night in Jaldapara.

Day 5: Buxa-Jayanti-Rajabhatkhawa(5 Hours)

Early morning enjoy Elephant Safari at Jaldapara National Park (as per availability & on direct payment basis). After breakfast drive to Buxa, Jayanti and Rajabhatkhawa. Buxa is a tiger reserve famous for leapords. There is a famous fort ruins in the forest which attracts tourists. Jayanti is the beautiful river beds with the view of the Bhutan Mountains in the background. Night stay at Jaldapara.

Day 6: Sikiajhora & Station Drop(4 Hours)

Morning free for packing .Then check out from hotel andto Sikiajhora-Here you can take a jungle boating season in dense forest.After sight seeing drive proceed to Hasimara. Bye bye with Happy Memories of your Dooars Trip…..

Day 3: Samsing to Jaldapara – Take a nature walk in the fringes of Neora Valley and enjoy a walk on the hanging bridge of Suntaleykhola. Leave Samsing and reach Jaldapara National Park via Nagrakata. Sightseeing at Totopara Tribal Village, South Khayerbari Animal Rehabilitation Center (You can take Jaldapara Forest jeep safari in the evening or the next day morning). Overnight at  Madarihat.

Day 4: Jaldapara to Rajabhatkhawa – (You can take Jaldapara Forest jeep safari this morning, if you have not taken jeep safari the previous day). You can also opt for Elephant Safari on availability. Sightseeing at Chilapata Forest and reach Rajabhatkhawa. Sightseeing at Sikiajhora. Overnight at Rajabhatkhawa.

Day 5: Rajabhatkhawa to Rishop: You can take Buxa Tiger Reserve jeep safari in the morning. Have breakfast at Rajabhatkhawa and leave for sightseeing at Jayanti Riverside. Then transfer to Rishop hotel. 

Day 6: After Breakfast go for Lava, Lolegaon, Kolakham Sightseeing. In Lava you can see the famous Lava Monastery, Nature Interpretation Center, then move to three step Changey Water Falls and Kolakham which offers rare scenic beauty. Lolagaon is also a scenic destinations with excellent view of Kunchenjunga though there is not any sightseeing or actvity there.

Day 7: In the morning you can take a trek to the Tiffin Dhara which offers a grand view of the Kunchengunga and the entire region. After breakfast at Rishop hotel and start for NJP/Bagdogra Drop.
