About Riverside Resort in North Bengal

Bijanbari Bamboo Resort is located on the Chota Rangeet Riverside in Darjeeling district about 2 hours drive from the town of Darjeeling. It is a eco friendly resort,  surrounded by green hills , tea gardens, dense forest and river. A destination for nature lovers the resort is an offbeat solitude seekers paradise where you spent a few days observing the birds, trees and the lively hood of a mountain village.

Our Bijanbari homestay is a riverside resort in Darjeeling have six separate cottages with a spacious single room in each. Each Room have two double bedded room which can accommodate upto maximum of 4 persons, however we let out our rooms on twin sharing as well as triple sharing basis.  

We charge our guests on stay and meal all inclusive basis. Typically this means you will be paying us for your stay as well as meals which in a day typically include Bed tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner. Food included in the package is normal Indian food like Bengali Dishes, also Nepali and Chinese dishes are prepared on guest requests at our Bijanbari homestay.

From Darjeeling our Bijanbari homestay, is about 1 & half hours drive or 25 kms. The road is through various tea gardens and mountainous roads offering beautiful view of the scenic hills.  

The nearest airport is Bagdogra which is at a distance of 90 km and takes about 4 - 5 hours time to reach. 

NJP is the nearest railway station and is about 95kms. You can take a shared cab from NJP and then reserve

All our rooms have provision accommodating  4 person to stay, 

for which we charge Rs 1800 per person, 

if the rooms are shared by 3 person  then the charges are Rs 2100 per person and 

in case only two person occupies the rooms our charges are 2500 per person. 

This includes charges of  all meals for a day also. 

Children below 5 yrs is complementary and  Kids above 5 yrs to 10 yrs  is Charges 50% for the food.

Cancellations done one month prior to the arrival date refund will be processed. 15 percent cancellation fee will be charged . 

Cancellations done within one month  of arrival date there will be a  cancellation fee of 50 percent  of the booking amount and the remaining 50 percent will be  refunded.

No refund or credit if cancellations done within seven days of arrival.
