Tinchuley Homestay is located in a remote village located about 30 kms from Darjeeling town. Takdah Cantonment  is a settlement located 4 km. from Tinchuley. It is now a popular tourist centers of the Darjeeling hills. Takdah and Tinchuley  is about 73kms from NJP Station, 77kms from Bagdogra Airport and 35 kms from Kalimpong  Town. Hire a Private Car or Taxi

Distance is about 70-80 kms  (Time: 2.5 to 3 hours) dependng on which route you take. 

 You can hire a private car or taxi directly from NJP. It's the most convenient option, especially if you're traveling with luggage or in a group. You can get  reserved taxis from the NJP station or nearby Siliguri.

By Shared Taxi

You can take a shared taxi from NJP or Siliguri to Darjeeling or Teesta Bazaar, which is on the way to Tinchuley. From Darjeeling or Teesta Bazaar, hire another local taxi to reach Tinchuley. However, shared taxis may not take you directly to Tinchuley, so you might need to switch vehicles at certain points (e.g., Darjeeling, Jorebungalow).

It’s recommended to arrange transportation in advance, especially in the tourist season. We could provide an all inclusive if you'd like a tour package that includes pickup and drop-off.
